League and Annual - Categories
Monochrome Prints - all members equal
Colour Prints - Level 1 and Level 2
Colour Slides - all members equal

The League is held over three rounds, the second of which is to a set theme.
Marks out of 20 are awarded to each image and a 1st, 2nd, 3rd are awarded in each section of each round.

 A picture (or signifcantly similar image) which has been placed 1 st ,2nd or 3rd in any league competition, may not be resubmitted the same or any other rounds of the same competition.

The right is reserved to retain entries for interclub competitions.

The club president shall award a special prize for merit to the photographer who has improved most over the course of the season. 

Four-on-a-Board
4 prints on a theme. Maximum size of each print is 7"x5"
All members are equal.
Entries are marked by Club members.
5 points are awarded for each print
5 points awarded as set, total 25 points

Slide Knock-out
Entry is limited to a maximum of 64 slides
e.g. 16 entrants with 4 slides each, 10 entrants ith 6 slides each + 4 others
Beginners will be gven preference if additional slides are necessary to make total up to 64 slides
2 slides are projected at the same time.
Members vote for the best slide which then goes forward to next round.

Thackery Trophy
A panel of 3 pictures on a set theme and judged as a panel.

Digital Competition
This competition is held once per season.
